Pneumatic instrumentation is relatively unfamiliar to many people in the highly integrated electronic era. They feel that they have no way to learn and do not know how to analyze. In fact, the principle of pneumatic instrumentation is the same as the principle of electronic circuits. Pneumatic signal control regulates the high-power compressed air flow.

The electro pneumatic transducer is developed according to the classic pneumatic instrument principle. Its core components are the nozzle baffle mechanism and the pneumatic power amplifier.

Electromagnetic becomes spatial change

The method of electrical conversion is to convert an electrical signal into a physical displacement of a mechanical part through electromagnetic conversion. This mechanical part is also the baffle part in the nozzle baffle mechanism. The baffle is a solid thin metal disk in the middle. The other side of the disk is designed as a thin metal coil structure with a convex outside and a hollow inside. The metal coil passes through a strong magnetic permanent magnet cylinder.

The current in the coil is a 4-20mA current control signal from the control room. With the different current values of the energized coil, the strong magnet's attraction is different, causing a physical displacement of the disc baffle integrated with the metal coil.
